1. Submissions and project acceptance
An inquiry or submission does not guarantee review, acceptance, publication, a start date, or a commercial relationship. Projects may be declined based on fit, readiness, capacity, content, legal risk, technical requirements, or other legitimate business considerations.
2. Scope, responsibilities, and changes
Project documents should identify deliverables, exclusions, milestones, payment structure, customer responsibilities, dependencies, revision boundaries, approvals, and handoff requirements. Material work outside the accepted scope may require a written amendment, new estimate, or separate project.
3. Ownership and licenses
The company’s operating philosophy is author-owned original work. Exact ownership and license terms are governed by the applicable agreement. Customer manuscripts and customer-created content are not transferred to Mythos merely because they are submitted for evaluation or production.
Third-party fonts, stock imagery, licensed software, templates, retailer systems, open-source components, ISBN or distribution services, and other external materials remain subject to their own terms. Company-owned tools, methods, templates, and pre-existing materials are not automatically transferred unless the project agreement says otherwise.
4. Customer-supplied materials and approvals
Customers are responsible for having the rights needed to supply manuscripts, images, names, trademarks, endorsements, and other material. Customers must review proofs and approvals carefully. Changes requested after approval may affect timing, cost, or technical feasibility.
5. Production, retailers, and distribution
Services may include preparation, formatting, cover development or refinement, metadata, retailer setup assistance, author branding, launch preparation, or related scoped work. Exact services depend on the accepted project documents.
Retailers, distributors, printers, marketplaces, and platforms make their own decisions and may change requirements, fees, review timelines, availability, or account rules. Assistance does not create an affiliation with those providers or guarantee approval, listing, distribution, placement, sales, or continued availability.
6. Results, cancellation, and delivery
No sales, ranking, review, royalty, publicity, audience, or commercial outcome is guaranteed. Cancellation, termination, payment, and refund treatment are governed by the project’s accepted documents and applicable law rather than a universal website rule.
Final files, formats, access, and delivery method depend on scope. Customers should maintain their own final copies. Unless expressly included, Mythos does not promise permanent archival, indefinite source-file storage, continuing retailer administration, or post-delivery support.
